The following documents are required for a Child Registration at the Permanent Mission:

1. The child’s local Long Birth Certificate;
2. Both parents’ Long Birth Certificates;
3. Both parents’ Zimbabwean National Registration Cards (IDs);
4. Both parents’ Passports; and
5. Marriage Certificate (if applicable). 
6. Application Fee: CHF 85

NB: Bring photocopies of all documents listed above.

When the forms have duly been completed, signed and processed, it is the applicant’s responsibility to send these to the Registrar General’s Office in Zimbabwe for the issuance of the Long Birth Certificate.
