Energy Conservation And Renewable Energy Department (ECRE)
- Formulate and review policies;
- Monitor and evaluate policy implementation;
- Promote energy conservation awareness in all sectors of the economy;
- Develop, review and enforce energy efficiency standards;
- Promote research, development and implementation of new and renewable energy technologies;
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate renewable energy programmes;
- Collect, manage and disseminate energy information;
- Develop energy plans; and
- Prepare the Ministry‘s Senior Management Meetings and reports.
